What Is an Epoxy Putty?

This two-part epoxy adhesive is formulated so you can safely mould and apply it with your hands. It comes in separate, colour-coded epoxy resin and hardener/catalyst sticks or containers that you mix by kneading them together. The resulting adhesive putty has a consistency similar to clay and cures at room temperature, making it even easier to use.

Epoxy putty bonds to most materials and often has a tough finish that resists expansion and shrinkage. It has excellent resistance to oil, petrol, water, and many other chemicals with some putties being waterproof once hardened. This putty is an excellent repair adhesive, letting you patch holes, seal leaks, and stick pieces together permanently. In addition to adhesion, epoxy putty is often used to fill gaps and dents, secure fasteners, or sculpt prototypes and custom parts.
