Product Information
Eastman HALO 157 is a purpose-designed lubricant with a viscosity of 9 cSt at 100°C and 12,700 cSt at -32°C. The fluid is based on selected polyol esters, whose inherent characteristics are further enhanced by additives, providing excellent load-carrying and anti-wear performance, high shear stability, good corrosion resistance, and compatibility with elastomers. It's formulation ensures greater inter-gear film thickness and high temperature stability. This product has been extensively tested in bearing and gearbox rigs, as well as in flight evaluations, and meets the NATO standard (AIR STANDARD ACS 4035) for a 9-cSt advanced helicopter gearbox lubricant.
