What Is a Conductive Adhesive?
ECAs are mechanical bonding agents that are also good conductors of electricity, which is achieved by adding elements like silver, copper and nickel. These adhesives are necessary for circuit boards and other electronics so you can attach components without hindering performance. Businesses commonly use conductive adhesive in place of soldering when they are working with heat-sensitive parts, EMI shielding, and anti-static systems or need a simpler attachment method.
Other benefits of conductive adhesives include lower curing temperatures and more ability to rework components, which is helpful when working on prototypes. Types of Conductive Adhesives
