Product Information
This material is a two-part, epoxy-cured Permapol P-3 polythioether compound. It has a service temperature range from -62°C (-80°F) to 160°C (+320°F), with intermittent temperature spikes up to (+216°C) +420°F. The cured sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas.
The uncured material is a low sag, thixotropic paste suitable for extrusion gun or spatula application. Unlike standard polysulfide fuel tank sealants, it can cure at low temperatures and is unaffected by changes in relative humidity. This sealant has excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
