Product Information

This compound consists of a two-part, chemically cured Permapol P-3 polythioether compound that maintains excellent elastomeric properties. It exhibits a wide service temperature range, from -55°C (-67°F) to 150°C (302°F) and can also function under exposure to jet fuel, aviation gas, and petroleum-based lubricating oils.

The mixed uncured material is suitable for application using a brush or roller, and it rapidly cures at room temperature forming a fuel-resistant elastomer. When used with primer PPG PR149 (sold separately) as an adhesion promoter, the sealant exhibits excellent adhesion to alclad, titanium, stainless steel, coated surfaces, and other sealants.
