Product Information
3MAluminum Foil Tape 1436 is our general purpose aluminium foil tape (0.075 mm thick). It has an aggressive rubber adhesive supplied with easy release liner and a soft aluminium backing, which provides good conformability. Use this tape in internal and external applications.
It bonds to a variety of different surfaces including woods, metals and plastics, and meets low flammable rating according to DIN4102B1.
Features:
- Foil backing provides an excellent reflective surface for both heat and light
- Bonds to various surfaces with an aggressive rubber adhesive
- Low water vapour transmission rate offers excellent sealing and patching performance
- Best results obtained when applied to clean dry surfaces above 0 C
- Performance range -25 C to +70 C; short term +100 C
