The tape is lightly tinted green, and designed to protect various metal surfaces including polished, clad, bare and heat treated aluminum, stainless steel and various coated and un-coated plastic surfaces, e.g. stretched acrylic, Plex II, cast acrylic, and polycarbonates.
Protex 8216-2 is capable of withstanding prolonged outdoor exposure, but is not intended for fly-away applications.
