Product Information
The film is coated with a silicone adhesive. It is a non-reinforced film, allowing it to conform to complex contours. It can be used to seal masters and leaky tool surfaces, while providing semi-permanent and contamination free part release.
This product provides a semi-permanent release, reducing the time needed for cleaning tooling and reapplying release agents. With good elongation, it allows complex tools to be reconditioned and master models to be finished for moulding. It also improves tool surface finish and aids resin flow, resulting in better part surface finish and less hand finishing. In addition, the acrylic adhesive tape can be used in applications where silicone adhesives are prohibited, helping to minimise contamination risk.
