Previously known as Dow Corning 4 (DC4), this highly versatile product possesses exceptional characteristics, including high dielectric strength, low volatility, moisture resistance, remarkable thermal oxidation and chemical stability. It finds diverse applications, such as acting as a moisture-proof seal for aircraft, automotive, and marine ignition systems, spark plug connections, and electrical wiring system junctions.
Additionally, it serves as a sealant and lubricant maintaining its effectiveness and consistency at an impressive range of temperatures, functioning perfectly between -40°C ( -40°F) to +200°C (+392°F). The formula is ideal for cable connectors, battery terminals, rubber door seals, switches, rubber, and plastic O-rings. Moreover, it is an assembly lubricant for various metal-on-plastic and metal-on-rubber combinations.
