Product Information

This product’s low coking propensity stands it out from many others on the market. AeroShell Turbine Oil 560 excels in the HLPS test used to measure coke formation in engines, meaning that your engine remains cleaner even at the highest temperatures.

AeroShell Turbine Oil 560 was developed to withstand the hostile environments of today's high powered, high compression engines in which the older generation of oils can be stressed up to and beyond their thermal limits.

The anti-oxidant additives contained in most HTS oils hurt elastomer seals, degrading them over time through swelling and ultimately leading to higher oil consumption. AeroShell Turbine Oil 560 is elastomer friendly, showing optimum elastomer compatibility compared to HTS alternatives when tested at 24 hour and 120 hour limits.

Through lower coking propensity and optimal elastomer compatibility, AeroShell Turbine Oil 560 drastically reduces oil consumption over time. A test conducted on a fleet of 10 aircraft showed a 10-15% reduction in oil consumption and with it a reduction in total operating cost. AeroShell Turbine Oil 560 also provides improved load-carrying capacity.
