Used for example on the marine RB211 and Rolls Westinghouse WR21
Protecting an internal satellite bush running at 500-550°C (930-1020°F), it is used at the turbine end in a variable geometry area to reduce friction.

PL181 should be tested before use in aqueous envionments or manufacture processes where aqueous washing is used. PL181 has only limited resistance to water immersion.
