PPG CV117 (formerly F273-986) is a two-pack, ambient curing, blue tinted, polyurethane lacquer with a high degree of cross-linking to give maximum chemical and fluid resistance.
Fully cured CV 117 is designed to give added protection to paint schemes (polyurethane and epoxy) on interior areas of aircraft structure where severe contamination by phosphate ester based hydraulic fluids is likely. It will also give improved gloss retention and resistance to chalking and bronzing.
