Product Information
The Ebonol C Liquid process produces black cupric oxide coatings on copper and copper alloys containing 65% or more of copper. The coatings are jet black, chemically stable, heat stable and are very adherent.
The finish itself will withstand temperatures up to about 190. At higher temperatures slow oxidation of the base copper occurs and the higher EBONOL C Liquid coating may be destroyed.
It is also used as a superior colouring process for brass, copper and copper alloys. A wide range of colours can be obtained by using different colouring process concentrations.
