Araldite 2000 Range – 2025 Reformulation Updates
Huntsman have advised us of an upcoming reformulation of a number of products within their Araldite 2000 family of products.
With the aim of offering a system free from components classified as CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic, according to CLP regulations), Huntsman, the manufacturer of the Araldite range, is reformulating:
- Araldite 2014-2
- Araldite AW 139-1
- Araldite 2012
- Araldite AW 2104
- Araldite 2013-1
- Araldite AV 144-2
- Araldite 2015-1
- Araldite AV 5308
The new products will be known as:
- Araldite 2014-3
- Araldite AW 139-2
- Araldite 2012-1
- Araldite AW 2104-1
- Araldite 2013-2
- Araldite AV 144-3
- Araldite 2015-2
- Araldite AV 5308-1
What You Should Know
The first commercial batches are expected to be available during Q3 2025. Silmid is currently setting up new codes ready for this change.
The current versions will remain available until mid-2026. Further communication will follow with the withdrawal schedule for the current formulations.
