The couplings have internal valves, so when disconnected, the airflow is shut off in both plug and socket. This means your vacuum bag will hold vacuum even after the vacuum hose has been disconnected. It also has a quick disconnect feature, allowing for the fast loading or unloading of ovens and autoclaves. The product comes with a threaded female fitting designed to receive Airtech Airflow autoclave and oven hoses and it's standardised design ensures compatibility with Vac Valves and Hoses.
