3M Primer 94 is a versatile adhesion promoter used to improve the bonding strength of 3M adhesives. Designed primarily to increase the adhesion of 3M VHB (Very High Bond) tapes to surfaces such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends, concrete, wood, glass, metal and painted metal surfaces. Primer 94 is applied as a thin liquid layer on surfaces that are challenging to bond, such as plastics, rubber and painted metals. It’s frequently used in automotive, construction and industrial applications where durable, high-strength bonds are required.

Application:
Bonding surfaces must be almost clean and dry before the tape primer is used. Contaminated surfaces should be cleaned with a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water mixture, and a clean lint free cloth should be used for wiping the surface.
