CHT AS1402 is a thixotropic paste, a self-bonding silicone sealant that employs additional cure technology. This single-part silicone will cure itself to a tough silicone elastomer by heating to temperatures over +100°C.

It is one in a range of addition cure products which are all solvent-free. It exhibits primerless adhesion to many substrates when cured at temperatures above +100°C. It cures quickly, forming a very tough, resilient silicone elastomer. This product is non-corrosive and so can be used with copper or its alloys and is suitable for electronic components.
