Typical applications include use on the landing gear shock struts of commercial aircraft. It retains its fluidity to -54°C, making it an efficient shock absorber during landing, even after prolonged flight at high altitudes.
It has a viscosity of 14 cSt at 40°C and contains a specific additive package to improve the fluid lubricity and extreme-pressure properties.
