Product Information

This product is a medium to heavy duty water displacing, thin film corrosion preventive compound that forms a film which provides lubricity to prevent fretting corrosion as well as a film which prevents oxidation of the substrate. It contains no ozone depleting chemicals and provides corrosion protection even in the harshest environments.

It protects electrical connectors from corroding, though does not disrupt contact between connectors. It also prevents fretting corrosion, and it contains a film that prevents oxidaiton of the substrates. D-5026NS is free from heavy metals and chromates, and has low toxicity. It can withstand temperatures as low as -55°C (-67°F) and as high as 85°C (185°F) continuously, and its coating can withstand temperatures up to 105°C (221°F) for 500 hours cumulative.
