Product Information

Electro Finish P2001 is a nickel rich conductive coating with conductive properties of up to <1Ω. Typical resistivity depending on test method is 1 Ohm per square. < 4Ω will be provided with 1 coat, for <1Ω then 2-3 coats may be required.

This product is designed for applications where surface conductivity is required. It is suitable for EM and RF shielding applications. Electro Finish P2001 is an acrylic finish with temperature resistance up to 90°C.

Surface Condition:

  • Observe the recoatability limits of the relevant primer.
  • Remove oil, grease and other contaminants prior to topcoating.
  • Recondition aged primers or topcoats with e.g. Scotch Brite Type A very fine till a uniform matt surface.
  • Remove dust with e.g. tack rags prior to the application of the finish.
