This product is used for masking and holding, and is regarded as the most transfer-resistant adhesive of all the 3M paper tapes, as the firm adhesive does not anchor itself as softer adhesives often do. The tape is made of a specially treated crepe paper backing thats sliver resistant and easy to tear by hand, thus reducing waste.
