3M 5480 PTFE Tape was a skived film tape which had a film backing with a silicone adhesive and provided excellent chemical resistance except to organic solvents and demonstrated good conformability when wrapping rollers.

This PTFE tape is no longer available from 3M. If your application requires a low coefficient of friction, with a temperature use range of -30°F to 225°F (-34°C to 107°C), please consider evaluating 3M UHMW Film Tape 5421 or 3M UHMW Film Tape 5423 for your application. These products offer similar non-stick properties to 3M PTFE Film Tapes albeit with less high temperature performance.
