PPG DeSoto 513X408B is a water-borne primer that is designed to protect aluminium and composite surfaces from corrosion. This product should be mixed with the supplied activator 910X831 as per the Technical Data Sheet (TDS).

This coating is easy to mix and apply and is fully compatible with Desothane HS topcoats. It offers excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance, as well as strong resistance to fluids. It can be applied in a wide range of conditions and sprayed using all current non-electrostatic equipment. Additionally, it is easy to strip using chemical strippers or dry media blasting, and is suitable for service temperatures from -54°C to 177°C (-65°F to 350°F).
