Scapa CW874 comprises a glass scrim reinforced aluminium tape coated with an aggressive cold weather acrylic adhesive, supplied with a siliconised paper liner. This very strong, high performance aluminium tape is ideal for use in a range of demanding applications and environmental conditions.

- For use as a heat deflector.
- Good high and low temperature resistance °service temperature: °35°C to +120°C.
- Scrim reinforced for extra strength.
- Good water vapour resistance.
- Same aluminium visual aspect to blend in easily with air ducts.
- Good ageing resistance both indoors and outdoors.
- Soft and conformable.
- Aluminium backing provides good reflection of both heat and light.
- Cold weather high quality adhesive for good bonding to a range of substrates.
- Good mechanical resistance.
Applications:
- General purpose patching, sealing and holding applications.
- Joining fibre insulation on aircraft.
- Joining of foil faced glass fibre or duct board joints.
- Sealing cold store insulation.
- For use as a water vapour seal of sheet metal ducts.
- Closing rigid air duct insulation.
