In 1980, Silmid began trading as a supplier of silicone products for the aviation market. Since then, our portfolio has extended to many other chemistries, but silicones still make up a large part of our business. Silicone’s heavy-duty performance and versatile applications make it an essential material in the construction and repair of buses, ships, turbine windmills, supercars and more.
