Scapa 1801 (H140) Polyimide Tape

This product is ideal for high-temperature masking, bundling and fixing components such as thermo switches that are exposed to elevated temperatures, while also providing reliable electrical insulation for coils, transformers, wires and cables in Class H (180 °C) applications. It offers excellent resistance to most alcohols, esters, ketones and oils, along with strong protection against chemical attack. Its high-strength backing delivers superior puncture, tear and abrasion resistance, and despite its thin profile it provides effective electrical insulation. After exposure to high temperatures, it can be removed cleanly in one piece, making it practical and efficient for demanding thermal environments.
