It releases a small amount of acetic acid during the curing process, which produces a vinegar-like odour that quickly dissipates after curing. This product offers good electrical insulation and is resistant to ageing, weathering, ozone, and corona. It is also resistant to oxidation and many oils, chemicals, and solvents.
Additionally, Silcoset 158 exhibits excellent bonding properties to a wide range of substrates. It is highly flexible and can withstand temperatures ranging from -60°C to +300°C.
