This product is nonflammable, does not use any chlorofluorocarbons (CFC's) during product manufacture, and is in general, chemically inert. Offering excellent lubrication, good shear stability, and low toxicity, the formula is designed to perform reliably in the presence of fuels, oxidisers, and deep-space vacuums. Typical applications include ball and roller bearings, gears, electrical contacts, and use as an assembly lubricant for O-rings and elastomers. The grease remains effective across a broad service temperature range of -112°F (-80°C) to 400°F (204°C) and contains molybdenum disulfide, with a tetrafluoroethylene telomer serving as the gelling agent.
