PPG Desothane CA8192 is a polyurethane topcoat which dries to a matt finish providing excellent abrasion resistance. This product should be mixed with the separately sold CA8310B activator, as per the Technical Data Sheet (TDS).

This product is formulated with PTFE and is designed for undersides of aircraft as protection against stone chips and on sliding surfaces to reduce friction.
This coating combines high durability with a low-VOC formulation, making it both long-lasting and environmentally considerate. It provides excellent resistance to aircraft fluids, including de-icing and hydraulic oils.
