The PPG Desothane HS CA8000 series is a low VOC, polyurethane topcoat used to provide protection and decoration to aircraft exterior surfaces. The CA8000 topcoat is designed to be applied over Desoprime epoxy primers.

When mixed with the CA8000B activator and the appropriate thinner from the CA8000C series, this product meets a variety of OEM specifications.
This product is a high-solids, low-VOC coating that offers excellent adhesion to epoxy primers, along with superior gloss and colour retention. It provides outstanding fluid resistance and can be applied in a wide range of environmental conditions, with a service temperature range of -54°C to 177°C (-65°F to 350°F).
