Informations produits
Eliminating the need for alternative rust preventatives, protected parts are always ready for use without the requirement for degreasing or coating removal. Metal parts packaged with VpCI-133 receive continuous protection against humidity, condensation, aggressive industrial atmospheres, dissimilar metal corrosion (galvanic corrosion), salt air, and post-processing residual impurities.
This product is excellent for the protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and alloys such as steel, copper, brass, aluminium, solder, and more. It does not alter critical physical and/or chemical properties of electronic components, and is suitable for use with printed circuit boards. This product is also free of nitrites and chromates.
Compared to traditional VCI papers and other wrapping materials, VpCI-130 foams contain approximately 10 times more VpCI (vapour phase corrosion inhibitor) chemicals per square metre of substrate, making the protection of objects with large surface areas possible.
The foam forms a strong protection as long as the enclosure remains sealed and there are no barriers between the metal surface and VpCI (vapour phase corrosion inhibitor) molecules.
