Loctite 5203 is a methacrylate-based gasketing product that is ideal where very low strength is of paramount importance (ease of disassembly). Designed for use with machined, rigid metal flanges, the product demonstrates a fixture time of 10 minutes (steel) and 20 minutes (aluminum). It cures anaerobically and is suitable for gaps up to 0.125 mm.
Features:
- Provides resistance to low pressures immediately after assembly of flanges.
- The product cures rapidly when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces.
- Fully cured product can easily be removed from flange faces, particularly on aluminium.
