Product Overview:
This thixotropic adhesive is primarily formulated for bonding e-coated metals to glass fibre-filled polypropylenes, whilst also proving effective on other low-energy substrates including LDPE and HDPE. Its thixotropic characteristics ensure straightforward application and help to minimise liquid migration once the adhesive has been applied. Loctite AA 3038 offers a working life of 4 minutes and achieves fixture in 70 minutes or fewer when bonding e-coated metals to glass fibre-filled polypropylenes. The adhesive cures at room temperature and provides reliable performance at temperatures of up to 100°C (212°F).
