This tape securely holds vacuum bagging materials and thermocouple wires on metal or composite parts and tooling, helping to fix consumables in place to avoid process errors and improve part quality. It also makes the removal of resin flash easier, reducing clean-up time. The rubber adhesive tape can be used where silicone adhesives are prohibited, minimising the risk of contamination.
The tape is high temperature / high tensile strength polyester film coated, with a pressure sensitive rubber based adhesive for oven or autoclave cures to 204°C (400°F).
