It is an air-cured coating containing molybdenum disulphide and antimony trioxide; the formula reduces friction in metal-to-metal sliding contact. It exhibits exceptional adhesion to metal surfaces and has been successfully employed in various automotive applications. These include pins, springs, brake surfaces, body hinges, linkages, locks, switches, ventilation controls, and servo mechanisms. It is also suitable for under-the-hood linkages exposed to dust, moisture, fuels, oils, etc.
Additionally, this coating is effective for hinge pins, sleeve bearings, cams, instrument bearings, threaded connections, and fasteners. It offers excellent lubrication, superior corrosion protection, good solvent resistance, and a high load-carrying capacity.
