This product is a one-part compound, suitable for application by brush or clean gauze, and dries at room temperature in approximately 30 minutes. It is recommended when a PR-1800 polythioether sealant is to be applied over a polysulfide material. For repair purposes, it also promotes adhesion between PR-1800 series and manganese and dichromate cured polysulfide sealants. Additionally, PR-187 is used with PR-1829 to enhance adhesion to polycarbonate and polyether polysulfone substrates.
