Product Information
Boasting excellent chemical resistance and low thermal conductivity, this product is typically applied as cable and insulation wrap, for the protection of fire zone cables, as a flame barrier or as thermal shields within the aerospace industry. It also holds good resistance to abrasion, as well as to fire and flames.
This product is coated during manufacture with sizings or finishes to aid textile processing. These consist of organic polymers, which when first heated may ignite and/or decompose to potentially hazardous byproducts or process contaminants.
