PPG
Manufacturer Part Number

Product Information

It is a manganese dioxide cured, nickel-filled, Permapol P-3 polythioether compound. The uncured material is a low sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. When correctly primed with PR148 Adhesion Promoter (sold separately) this sealant has excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.

It has a service temperature range of -55°C (-67°F) to 121°C (250°F), with intermittent excursions up to 182°C (360°F).

Its corrosion inhibitive properties protect against the common causes of corrosion on aluminium alloys or between dissimilar metals.
