PPG PR2870 Class S Sprayable Non-Chromate Corrosion Inhibitive Sealant

PPG PR2870 Class S was a sprayable corrosion inhibitive sealant. It had a service temperature range from -80°F (-62°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 300°F (149°C). This product is no longer available, with alternatives available depending on specification.
PPG PS870 is approved to the same MIL-PRF-81733 specification, and available in all sealant classes. Alternatively, PPG PR1775 is approved to AMS 3265 while PPG PR1771 Class B is a 1.1 specific gravity NCCI sealant, although both products are only available in Class B format.
