PPG PR2870 Class A Non-Chromate Corrosion Inhibitive Sealant

PPG PR2870 Class A was a light weight, non-chromate corrosion inhibitive sealant. It had a service temperature range from -80°F (-62°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 300°F (149°C). This product is no longer available, with alternatives available depending on specification.
PPG PS870 Class A is approved to the same MIL-PRF-81733 specification. Alternatively, PPG PR1775 is approved to AMS 3265 while PPG PR1771 Class B is a 1.1 specific gravity NCCI sealant, although both products are only available in Class B format.
