Quality Inspector

Tell me more about the role... 

Ultimately you will be tasked with ensuring all incoming stock is received, rigorously checked and booked in.

  • Safe handling by all parties on the goods receiving side of things, assisting with unloading/unpacking, identifying discrepancies at any stage of the process
  • Detailed inspections of the relevant supplier paperwork prior to booking in
  • Segregating all non-conforming items and reporting back to the relevant supplier

The Warehouse is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will be working towards set targets. This role is physically demanding so you must be comfortable working on your feet all day, unloading and unpacking goods.

What experience do I need?  

We want someone who is experienced in working within the quality inspection side of a business. Experience of the aviation or aerospace sector would be an advantage, but as long as your current role requires you to have a high attention to detail then you will be considered. There may be an opportunity to progress within this role so you will have a passion for continuous improvement.The ideal candidate will have the ability to motivate a team and lead by example.

In addition, it's essential that you possess the following:

  • Knowledge of quality standards (e.g. ISO9001, AS9100 & AS9120)
  • Forklift License is essential 
  • Strong numeracy & literacy skills

What can I earn?

This Quality Inspector position offers an attractive basic salary for the perfect candidate

 

You also have an opportunity to earn a quarterly performance related bonus that equates to an additional circa 10% of your salary.

Warehouse Operative

If you’ve got demonstrable experience of Warehouse environments, ideally working as an export packer, comfortable handling and packing dangerous/hazardous goods then you could be exactly what we're looking for.

Tell me more about the role...  

As a Warehouse Operative you’ll report to the Warehouse Manager and will be primarily responsible for delivering exceptional service as part of a fast-paced warehouse team, helping fulfil customer orders in accordance with internal policies and customers’ requirements. 
 
You'll report to the Quality Manager and will also be responsible for the following: 

  • Ensuring all orders are shipped accurately with zero defects and in accordance with relevant shipping method (IATA, ADR, IMDG)
  • Carrying out daily stock takes, ensuring all stock is 100% accurate and any discrepancies corrected
  • Updating shipments using Winman ERP system
  • Driving forklift trucks in a safe and responsible manner

What experience do I need?  

The ideal candidate for this Warehouse Operative role will have relevant experience of a Warehouse environment, ideally working as an export packer, comfortable handling and packaging dangerous/hazardous goods. 
 
In addition, it's essential that you possess the following: 

  • A valid driving licence along with a Bendi and Counterbalance forklift truck licence
  • Excellent understanding of export regulations
  • Strong project management skills, able to multi-task and prioritise, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve success
  • Valid IATA (Air freight), ADR (Road freight) and IMDG (Sea freight) certificates are desirable 

You'll also need to be a good team player with a positive attitude, punctual and professional with a continuous improvement mentality.
