How does Sil-Mid Logistics work?
Our experience shows that each customer has different requirements specific to his own business. There is no "one size fits all" solution. Our Consultant works with you to identify your exact needs and develop a tailor made solution.
We then take over all the activities which would otherwise consume your management time: management of multiple vendors, warehousing, break bulk, shelf life, batch traceability, delivery.
We apply our specialist knowledge of transport and shipment of hazardous materials and can also organise safe storage, removal and disposal of waste. We provide whatever management information you may need.
You can of course add and delete items, also you can include products which are not normally supplied by Sil-Mid, for example paints, for management by Sil-Mid Logistics.

Stores Management
A highly successful part of our contract services offering has been the outsourcing of stores facilities at customer sites. Our brand new warehouse facility in Coleshill is the ideal location to host outsourced stores facilities to customers. When combined with our contract services team, the solution includes data sheet and shelf life management of stock held.
Warehousing
At our central distribution centre Sil-Mid provides palletised storage and warehousing for a number of clients both suppliers and customers. Our highly experienced warehouse team combined with our ERP system enable us to maximise our warehouse space and offer a range of tailored warehousing services.
Kitting
Kitting is where we take a huge number of products from a large range of suppliers and break the bulk volume down into multi part kits. Our service can cater for multiple kits with multiple part requirements. The service includes full packing and onward delivery to point of use.
