Over a twenty five year period, Sil-Mid has established an extensive database allowing the easy identification of products in a variety of ways. These include National Stock Numbers, U.S. Military, UK M.O.D. and Boeing Aircraft specifications. Our stock file covers over 10,000 products from some 350 manufacturers and suppliers.
Single Source Supply
Once a product has been correctly identified the Technical Services team work with the Purchasing team to ensure that Sil-Mid offer competitive terms for both pricing and delivery. Sil-Mid regularly sources products from around the world to meet customer's specific needs.
With any highly technical group of products there is always a regular requirement to provide comprehensive product data sheets and health and safety information. The Technical Services team maintains and updates a vast library of information, which is available to customers on request.
We know how important it is to get the right product, first time every time. As such technical services provide a valuable safety net to customers, which eliminates incorrect products being purchased.
Full Traceability
With twenty years experience of serving the world of Aerospace, Sil-Mid provides full traceability on material supplied. All Sil-Mid shipments include a Certificate of Conformity provided free of charge.
Quality
We work very hard to ensure that we meet all the requirements of the ISO quality systems and this includes marinating accreditation from all of the major Aerospace OEM's including BAE Systems and Airbus UK.
