Our Economy Delivery Service is provided by our parcel carrier partner ANC Express. ANC provides a cost effective and efficient means of supply to our customers, ANC Express is widely acclaimed as the nation's number one express delivery service for flexibility, reliability and quality of service. These are the standard charges for the majority of parcels shipped from Sil-Mid.

Large or heavy volumes may require shipping on a pallet. If this is the case we will contact you to confirm any pallet charges prior to completing your order. Please note that some of our products are classified as hazardous for road transport in the UK and may require special delivery requirements that we will advise you of before shipment.

Quick Questions
- Why can't you send my goods in the post?
Because many of the materials we supply are classed as hazardous we are unable to send them in the post.
- Can I collect my goods instead of paying delivery?
Collections are by arrangement and any requirement for collection must be stated on your order. Our trade counter is open from 10.00am until 4.00pm weekdays for collections.
- What happens if the goods go missing?
It is very rare for goods to go missing. On the odd occasion when this happens we make every effort to have the goods re-delivered. If they get lost we will supply replacement goods.
- What if I need to return the goods to you?
On receipt of the goods complete the reverse of the delivery note and fax it back to us. A member of our team will contact you to discuss arrangements for the return of goods. Please read through our section on returns for full details.
- How long will it take for my goods to arrive?
Wherever possible we try to ship from stock and orders are processed on the day they are placed on-line. Some products are ordered in to fulfill customer orders. In these instances there will be a lead time from the manufacturer of the product.
We normally advise that delivery should be within 28 working days of your order being placed. In some rare instances delivery may take longer especially for special order products manufactured in the USA, delivery can take between 8 to 12 weeks.

Export Shipping (EU and Non EU customers)
Many of our customers request that we ship materials to locations outside the UK. For the majority of export deliveries we use our preferred global carrier Federal Express. All export orders require:
- Export Documentation (Chargeable)
- Export Packing (Chargeable)
- Your FedEx Account Number
Please note that FedEx may choose not to ship materials that they deem to be hazardous. It may be required to use a specialist cargo shipper in some instances. A full quotation for all shipping costs can be provided.
Please note that we reserve the right to decline to ship to certain destinations in addition to those countries under delivery restrictions.
