Araldite 2000 Range

The range includes load-bearing adhesives for bonding metals and composites, resilient and flexible adhesives for bonding thermoplastics and combinations of metals, slow cure adhesives for large area application, adhesives designed to give results in minutes, adhesives that are resistant to high temperatures or chemicals, paste adhesives for gap-filling or vertical applications, transparent adhesives for glass bonding and rapid cure multipurpose adhesives.

Product performance is complemented by innovative packaging designed to assist the user. The Araldite 2000 range is available in cartridge or working pack format to suit the individual application.

Grade	Description
2010	Is a high-viscosity, fast cure epoxy with excellent chemical, heat and water resistance. Offers good lap shear strength at elevated temperatures after curing at 25°C (77°F). For metals, composite panels, ceramics and wood. Qualified to ABP2-3094.
2011	High-viscosity epoxy with excellent chemical, heat and water resistance. Offers good lap shear strength at elevated temperatures after curing at 25°C (77°F). For metals, composite panels, ceramics and wood. Qualified to ABP2-3094.
2012	Araldite 2012 is a rapid cure, multipurpose, two component, room temperature curing, high viscosity liquid adhesive of high strength and toughness. It is suitable for bonding wide variety of metals, ceramics, glass, rubbers, rigid plastics, and most other materials in common use. It is a versatile adhesive for the craftsman as well as most industrial applications.
2013	Araldite 2013 is a high-viscosity epoxy with excellent chemical, heat and water resistance. Offers good lap shear strength at elevated temperatures after curing at 25°C (77°F). For metals, composite panels, ceramics and wood. Qualified to ABP2-3094.
2014	Araldite 2014 is a two component, room temperature curing, thixotropic paste adhesive of high strength and toughness, with 120°C temperature capability, good environmental and excellent chemical resistance. Used for bonding of metals, electronic components, GRP structures and many other items where a higher than normal temperature or more aggressive environment is to be encountered in service. The low out gassing makes this product suitable for specialist electronic telecommunication and aerospace applications. Note: Requires 2:1 ratio gun.
2015	Araldite 2015 is a two component, room temperature curing paste adhesive giving a resilient bond. It is thixotropic and non sagging up to 10mm thickness. It is particularly suitable for SMC and GRP bonding.
2018	Araldite 2018 is a two component, room temperature curing, pale coloured, lightly thixotropic liquid polyurethane adhesive for thermoplastic bonding.
2020	Araldite 2020 is a two component, room temperature curing, low viscosity adhesive specifically designed for glass bonding. It is also suitable for bonding a wide variety of metals, ceramics, rubbers, rigid plastics and most other materials in common use.
2021	Araldite 2021 is a two component, room temperature curing, methacrylate general purpose adhesive for rapid assembly operations on a wide range of substrates, giving very high bond strengths.
2026	Araldite 2026 is a two component, room temperature curing, clear transparent polyurethane adhesive for bonding of selected thermoplastics (e.g. polycarbonate), thermoset composites, and bonding of plastics to metals and glass.

Araldite 2000 Series Accessories

To use the Araldite 2000 range of adhesives as supplied in cartridges, the correct applicator gun is required. The Sil-Mid guns support both 1:1 and 2:1 ration cartridge packs. Also available are additional nozzle packs. To help users with the application of Araldite 2000 range adhesives, we are delighted to announce the revised cartridge system.
