Credit Accounts

Instant Credit Account

Originally designed to replace the need for Pro Forma Invoices which are costly and time consuming to administer, our Instant Credit Account has proved to be incredibly popular with SME customers.

Once a simple one page application form has been completed we will open an on-line credit account facility. The account is limited to a total spend of£500 and must be paid in full within 30 days of the invoice date.

We do not require references but you must be a Limited Company and have been trading for a minimum of three years. Currently this account is not available to sole traders or partnerships. Usually these are accounts activated on the same day and allow you to place your order on-line within a few hours of faxing the application.

Please note:

All of the form must be completed. This must be signed. Please FAX back to 01675 432869. A copy of your company letterhead displaying your company registration number and your VAT number must be included. We reserve the right to decline your application if you have County Court Judgements against your business or have previously had a poor payment record or history.

Full Credit Account

A full credit account is a traditional account where the amount of credit available to you is determined by a full credit check and the review of trade references.

The credit terms are 30 Days Net of invoice date as standard. Under certain commercial arrangements credit terms may be amended in cases where scheduled orders or contract arrangements are in place.

The account is not instant as it requires the referee's response before the account is active. Once active all on-line orders can be placed against this account.

Full account customers can also opt to have consolidated invoices for all of their monthly transactions. Please feel free to contact our Accounts team on 01675 432850 for more information about how your credit account will work.

Trade Accounts

For customers requiring trade accounts please complete the Full Credit Application Form and then contact your Account Manager to discuss appropriate price arrangements. Once set up your trade pricing will be available for you to buy on-line.

Credit Cards

Silmid.com accepts payments from all major credit cards excluding American Express. Our chosen payment gateway is fully PCI compliant and all of our checkout pages are covered by our Global Sign SSL certificate.

Pro Forma Invoices

In recent years we have tried to eliminate the need for Pro Forma Invoices by providing our Instant Account facility and also enabling payment with credit and purchasing cards. We do recognise that there are still circumstances where a Pro Forma Invoice may be required. Currently the Silmid.com website does not provide a Pro Forma invoice. To obtain one simply contact the Customer Services team on 01675 432850 and request a Pro Forma for the goods you are looking for.

We can only process your order on receipt of cleared funds into our bank. Our full bank details are available on request.
