How do I create an online account?
To create an online account you will need to Register. Click on the 'Register' link beneath the login box in the top right of the screen and complete the form with all its mandatory fields. Once registered you will be able to order using your credit card.

What are my payment choices?
Members of the public can order online using any major credit card. Companies can opt to pay using a corporate purchasing card or a regular credit account. To order against an account the company will have to complete a credit account application form. Once complete the form should be faxed back to our Accounts team who will then advise whether the application has been successful.

Do I have to pay VAT?
All the prices shown in the online catalogue are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added to your order at the current rate of 17.5% The VAT Inclusive price is shown next to each product on the Product Detail page.
Do you ship oustide the United Kingdom?
At the current time the silmid.com online catalogue caters for customers in the United Kingdom. If you wish to have goods delivered outside the United Kingdom our Export Sales Team will be able to help. Contact them on +44 1675 432850 or fax them on +44 1675 432870.
Has my order shipped?
When Logged in to the online catalogue click on the 'Orders' tab to review your list of recent orders. If the order is shown as 'complete' then it has shipped. Delivery normally takes between 24 - 72 Hours from despatch.
How do I track my order?
When Logged in to the online catalogue click on the 'Orders' tab to review your list of recent orders. If your orders shows as despatched but you have not recieved it you can take the FedEx reference and search for a proof of delivery (POD) on the FedEx website, www.fedex.com/gb or contact the Customer Services team on 01675 432 850 who will be happy to track your order.
An item is missing from my shipment.
On receipt of a short shipment simply turn over the delivery note and fill in the form on the back. Fax the form to the number provided and a member of the Customer Service Team will deal with the problem.
