Sil-Mid Ltd was established in January 1980, originally to supply GE Silicone products to British Airways and Lucas Aerospace. This began the development of Sil-Mid Ltd as a major provider of 'on aircraft' consumable products used by major OEM's, MRO's, airlines and general aviation.

Sil-Mid Ltd is a dedicated specialist distributor of adhesives, sealants, lubricants, silicones, cleaning agents and surface treatments, we focus on soft materials that are used in every aspect of the transportation sector.

With over thirty years of experience, Sil-Mid Ltd is strategically placed to deliver a huge range of specialist products into new and existing customers. These customers range from small to medium enterprises up to blue chip global manufacturers and OEMs..

We supply aerospace

All of our products are supplied with full batch traceability and we recognise the need to achieve the shelf life requirements of our customers. Our expertise and experience enables us to list over 14,000 items from over 400 suppliers and source materials from all over the world. Our library contains in excess of 160,000 documents covering all the products we supply, including specification details, QPL's, technical data sheets, safety data sheets, product guides and much more.

Our expertise originated in silicones from Dow Corning and GE Silicones; our portfolio now covers products from over 300 categories which include adhesives, from Araldite, Bostik, Permabond and Loctite, sealants from Hylomar, PPG Aerospace (formerly PRC DeSoto) and lubricants from AeroShell, Rocol and AirBP.
